Whose woods these are I think I know,
His house is in the village though.
He will not see me stopping here,
To watch his woods fill up with snow

My little horse must think it queer,
To stop without a farmhouse near,
Between the woods and frozen lake,
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake,
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep,
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,

雪夜停在樹林邊

1.這是誰的樹林 我想我知道, 雖然他的房子是在村裡頭. 他不會看見我停在這裡, 看著他的樹林蓋滿著白雪.
2.我的小馬一定認為很奇怪, 停在附近沒有農舍, 樹林與冰凍的湖中間, 一年中最黑的夜晚.
3.牠搖了一下牠馬具上的鈴, 問說是否有一些錯誤. 唯一其他的聲音是掠過, 清涼的林風與柔軟的雪花
4.樹林是可愛的 黑暗而深邃, 但我有過承諾要遵守, 在我睡前還有幾哩路要趕, 在我睡前還有幾哩路要趕.
